Best Lightweight Single Stroller
Travel strollers aren't any lighter or more compact than this. Its sleek design is simple to fold into a neat rectangle shape and the wheels rotate more easily than some other models.
The stroller also comes with an ample storage space under the seat and a shoulder strap that makes it easier to carry when you're not pushing it. But the canopy adjustment can create lots of noise which could wake a sleepy toddler.
1. Contours Itsy
The Contours Itsy is a compact stroller with a lot of features for its size. The back under-seat basket has a spring loaded mechanism, which means you can push the basket down to store bags for diapers or backpacks and it will then pop up to secure the contents. It also comes with a child accessory tray and adjustable backrest pad for the seat and a reclining seat back pad, which offer more options than you typically find on a lightweight stroller.
Additionally, it has a great canopy that is able to open and close to provide the sun-protection you require, and the handlebar can be adjusted in height in four positions for a comfortable fit. However, we weren't thrilled with the quality of its ride on rough terrain. We were of the opinion that the suspension and wheels did not do a good job of absorbing shocks and bumps.
The stroller is ideal for travel because it is fully assembled in the box. It takes only just a few steps to get it ready to use. The seat can be pushed forward and backwards to adjust the recline, which is pretty much flat. Two buttons on the frame allow it to fold and unfold. It also fits into a convenient carrying bag for when it's not being used. It's actually one of the smallest strollers we tested and it easily meets most airline requirements for gate-checking and cabin storage, on airplanes. 2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus
This is a great choice for those who are looking for a stroller that is lightweight. It has all the features that parents want in a stroller. This includes all-terrain tires and front suspension for a smooth ride. It's also extremely light, at less than 12 pounds. It folds with one hand and stands up on its own. It also has an adult tray and a child tray and two cup holders.
Its design isn't excellent, and it didn't perform well in our maneuverability test. It also has a swivel frame that makes pushing it across rough surfaces feel like lifting a heavy weight. This may be okay when you use the stroller on paved sidewalks, but for most people, it's going to not provide a comfortable experience.
The Cloud Plus features a three-tiered extended canopy that has a peek-aboo window to provide additional sun protection. The seat is multi-position and can hold children up to 50 pounds. It also has a five-point safety restraint. This is a great choice for older toddlers who have outgrown their car seats for infants.
It's small and folds down in one step. It can be collapsed by pressing the button. It also features a convenient foot-activated break that's easy to install and release.
However the handle is lower than other strollers we tested and some parents might be uncomfortable for extended durations. The handle locks in place when it's opened. This is a great feature to use the stroller on uneven or muddy terrain.
3. Munchkin Sparrow
The Munchkin Sparrow is the ultimate stroller for parents on the move. The compact stroller folds down and up easily and fits in the overhead compartments of planes or trunks in amusement parks (no need to fret about parking fees). It comes with a carry bag that zips up for convenient storage. It can be used with the infant car adapter from birth and provides excellent sun protection by utilizing its canopy. The only issue for parents who have children is that they find the look cheap and utilitarian.
The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a bit more expensive than the other single strollers with lightweights however it was made specifically for luxury travel and urban living. It's one of the smallest strollers that fold (and comes with a handy carry case) It also offers plenty of storage space, including cups holder. The seat reclines to almost flat for both children and adult. This is the only stroller on our list that has a car seat adapter to allow it to be used with infants. Some short parents may not like the handlebar, as it isn't adjustable.
The UPPAbaby Minu V2 may not be the lightest stroller, however it has a lot of amazing features that help children travel more easily. Its spacious seat reclines to a pretty flat position, and comes with additional padding to make those naps on the plane last longer. The extendable canopy has a lot of sun coverage and the tray on the front provides plenty of storage. It also features a spring-loaded handle that doubles as the footrest when folded. This footrest is vulnerable to damage by baggage handlers.
4. Uppababy Mini V2
The Uppababy Minu V2 is a top stroller that isn't compromising on quality or design. Its compact size makes it easy to navigate narrow streets and tight spaces, however its sturdy construction means it can withstand rough terrain without compromising the comfort of your child. The spring-action suspension in the front and back creates more comfort for your child, and its sturdy materials will stand up to the wear and tear of everyday use. It can also be extended to accommodate other accessories such as baby car seat.
In our tests, the Minu was easy to fold and move around even with a child in the hand. Its squat fold that can be divided into three sections was among the most simple we tried. This allows it to be easily tucked away in overhead compartments of planes and on public transport. It has a single-action color-coded brake that is easy to use.
The seat features a multi-position recline and one-handed adjustable leg rest, which makes it easy to find the right position for your child. The UPF 50+ canopy lowered quite far to shield Cora's face from the sun. There's also a medium-sized mesh peek-aboo window which closes magnetically, and is glued to the canopy, rather than using noisy Velcro.

Joovy is an established brand that makes various strollers. This stroller is light and an excellent choice for parents who are looking for a sturdy stroller that can transport their children. It is easy to maneuver, has plenty of storage, and is not difficult to fold. This model isn't suited for those who want an additional stroller or car seat compatible model. It doesn't accept any infant car seats, and your infants must be able to sit up on their own before you can use the stroller starting from the first day.
This stroller comes with a number of solid features and an impressive price tag. It earned a higher score in our maneuverability review than other strollers with similar specs, and it's a great choice for smooth paved surfaces. It also comes with a great canopy and plenty of storage including a spacious parent tray. The handlebar is smaller than average and the front wheel suspension is a bit stiffer but it's still suitable for adults.
If single stroller for sale have twins or two kids of different ages, you might consider a side-by-side stroller is the best way for them to travel in. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove. It is loaded with features and is small in size that allows it to fit into places where other side-byside strollers won't.
It features reclining seats that are individually adjustable as well as a large canopy that has an opening window that can be seen from afar and lots of storage. It's a bit heavier than other side-by-sides however it has a decent weight capacity and can be used by children weighing up to 50lbs.
